30 Days

This project involves 30 repairs over a period of time. It is my attempt to show some of the most common repairs of laptop failures. And to provide solutions and clues for less experienced techs. By sharing my experience, your experience should be easier, since most of the common issues will be addressed. Hopefully you will be able to better understand, Why Things Fail.

Some days it will be slow, I will present some of the most challenging classic repairs from 2008. These will be nightmare repairs where most tech's give up. And can be found on eBay as a bargain, if you know what the problem is. But note, I cannot guarantee that this is the only problem that exhibits "Dead System/No Lights" so be prudent in choosing.

The information provided here is intended for instructional use only. and  In no way intended to be a replacement for the manufacturer specifications, even when shortsighted or defective. Though it could be considered an alternative, it is up to the individual technician that is making the repair to decide, should I too use this method. And repair work should be done by qualified technician, this is not for the novice or amateur.
